July 1st, 2004...Its official! The Treat will be playing live on Wed July 21st at the El Mocambo in Toronto....you say
"why Wednesday?" well, we say, "drink away another week..." The show is one of great significance in the
history of the band....but we cant figure out which is more imprtant: the fact that it will be our inaugural show or the fact

Apr 18, 2004...So, it was Saturday night once again last night, and go figure.....the Treat were at it again in the Hornet's
Nest messin' with their trusty instruments and laying down noises on to tape.....well not really tape but that's what we call
it anyways. Canolis (an older tune from our last album) has found a rebirth with the G-man penning a classic melody for it......we
can't wait to show it off in the live venue...something to behold. Also the ol' tube organ was tuned today and given new power
in volume that may even allow us to hear it when we play it.
Apr 4, 2004...We got our drummer back in one piece and met once again as 4 pour une autre session (#3) during last nite's
full moon and clock change madness. The new song (temporarally called "Get The Gun...") can only be described as
offentaining, that being both offensive and entertaining at the same time.....but as always little more can be said right
now due the legal advice of our attorney. We can say this though. We have some huge news to announce! By a 4 to 0 vote Matt
was officially and finally welcomed into the Treat over the weekend with the blessing of Tommy and his newly appointed title
of "Chairman of the Board." Tommy will continue to be a member of the band in standing but will instead smoke cigars
as his instrument of choice rather then his rusty ol' sax. This event marks the the beginning of the Treat's 3rd phase of
existance of which we're most excited about. Vive SFT! Vive!
Mar 28, 2004...An inebriated good morning to you. Last night the Treat in trio form, (Robbie's in Ottawa playing for the
Senators this weekend) recorded more material for the up coming album. Among this included the new groove of "A Treat
Out Of Reach" with 4 versions recorded throughout the night...'cause its at night when we come alive...a solid effort
indeed.
Mar 14, 2004....The hive is alive! Last evening the Treat fully enjoyed a most productive recording session (#1) at The
Hornet's Nest Studio in lovely peaceful Pottageville. Much was accomplished, including the discovery of bro Rob's touch on
the keys. Nicely had. With plenty of enthusiasm from the boys the tunes "put down" reflected the (once again) rebirth
of the band's agenda. This shit is classic already. Also, the band will possibly be playing its 10th anniversary show next
month....amazingly it would be the first public show in the bands history?!
Mar 4, 2004.... "Treat drop sour tune on the masses" Did you hear that? No? Well... you're about to! The Treat
have just released another classic single in the releases section. If you're wondering why there are so many instuments, stop.
Its only "a little help from our friends." Hey, did you drop something?
Jan 18, 2004....It is true! The beloved/despised "Treat" have been getting their greaszy paws working on new
material for a new full-length album which, as always, will entertain like no other. The former plan of recording live at
the picturesque Pottageville Pavillion has now been put to rest. Instead we will be laying down the recockulousness of it
all at "The Hornet's Nest", our personal studio of sorts....This should all go down in the near future. We also
have another little surprise, but for now we're not telling. So people, rise up! Cheer loud the return. And "Sign The
Damn Treaty" will ya.
